Is it okay to wear a cardigan to a club?

-its quite cold over here, the weathers horrible and its windier during the nights. ive never been clubbing before so was just wondering if its okay to wear a cardigan over my dress? or is that not allowed? i've heard that cubs are very strict about what you can and can not wear but i dont wanna stand outside in the freezing cold with nothing but a dress on.. so just wanted some help :) is it allowed?

If it was cold out I would take one with me too, but after a while of being in the club you May start to feel hot as it will start to get crowded and dancing will make you sweat ....Try to find a trendy half jacket, maybe studded or leather
