Is it okay to wear some white to a wedding???10points?

-I have two weddings to attend in Aug. Both weddings are going to be held in a church. The first wedding is going to be a big one.There will be a reception after wards. The second wedding is going to be small following a dinner at a restaurant. So, I have two dresses which I have pictures of. One of the dresses has white. I was told it's disrespectful to the bride. So, should I wear the Navy dress instead or??

Maybe some colored accessories to go with it. like someone else said wear white to the bigger wedding as there will be more people and less attention on what color dress your wearing also more people will wear right. I would say wear the dress unless the bride is extremely sensitive to these types of issues or very proper.Wear the white/black with some cute heels(like red or some pretty color,or some type of print that would match the black and white. The dress isn't all white,so it shouldn't be no big deal and plus its not like a pure white...like most brides wear.



The navy dress looks more like something you would wear to a party or club.

I think the navy dress is the safest option just in case the bride or her family are really sensitive, but in my opinion the other dress doesn't have enough white in it to really steal the bride's thunder, so I think you should just go for the dress that you prefer!

I think you'd be ok to wear that black/white dress. It's not white white, as in all white to take the eyes off of the bride.



Another thought... LOVE LOVE LOVE your zebra heels with the red toes!!!!!!!! Wear those with the black & white dress!
It has always been my understanding that a guest does not wear all white (as in a completely white dress) to a wedding, but having a good bit of white in your outfit is certainly not a problem.
It's fine since you have another color in the white dress. My uncle got married in June & I wore a white dress with navy flowers. I would wear the white one to the bigger wedding and the navy to the small one.
Wear the navy blue but not with those shoes and those are really short for a wedding

As long as it isnt ALL white or OVER THE TOP, you should be good.

If you still feel uncomfortable, go with the other dress, or wear colored accesories woth the white dress. :)
You should wear the navy blue dress with different kind of shoes that match.
